Welcome

Welcome to Indian Fields in northern Prairie Village, KS.

We are a neighborhood of 236 number of homes nestled in northern Johnson County right next to Fairway and Mission Hills and only .5 miles from The Village Shops.

We take pride in our winding roads and the walkability of our neighborhood. There are sidewalks on every street, which are especially full when schools let out or during the annual 4th of July bike parade.

Our neighborhood is beautified by the landscape in the 11 islands found throughout. This work is funded by the yearly dues the residents pay to the Home Owner’s Association.

The Indian Fields Board of Directors (IFBOD) is run by a group of up to 11 resident volunteers who serve 3-year renewable terms. They are charged with being stewards of the deeds and restrictions specific to Indian Fields, and in many cases, stricter than those imposed by the city of Prairie Village. For more information on how these restrictions may apply to your home, please click here. The IFBOD also organizes and maintain the electronic directory found here. In addition to the Annual Meeting held in the Fall, the IFBOD meets quarterly. The minutes from these meetings may be found here.

We look forward to seeing you in the neighborhood!
